TAQA Darts Challenge
Has your team got ‘The Power’?
The TAQA Darts Challenge along with the Lawn Bowls and Dance The World events all form the Social Sports Series in the Aberdeen Corporate Decathlon.
The Sport: Some claim the sport began when bored soldiers challenged each other by throwing spears into turned over barrel bases (and later, tree trunks) for target practice.
The Challenge: Played as a traditional 401 tournament, the darts challenge will identify which teams are game on for the season ahead. We are expecting natural talent (honed over years of practice at appropriate venues), along with a healthy amount of beginners luck!
Please contact your Captain for details of any informal practice sessions they have arranged.

Teams that finish 3rd & 4th in the pool stage will progress to a knock out Plate competition. Both the Cup and Plate knock outs include quarter-finals, semi-finals, 3rd/4th play off and final.
Contact your Team Captain for information about any training they have arranged for this event.
