The events provide a fantastic opportunity for people to socialise with colleagues across the whole of our business, to develop organisational, motivational and communication skills, as well as promote a healthy, active lifestyle. As always, Wood Group looked forward to competing in the 2011 Aberdeen Corporate Decathlon. The competition gives us an excellent opportunity to engage with employees across various sites, encourages healthy & active lifestyles and allow employees the chance to get to know one another outside the office. As well as having fun and trying out new activities, the team was thrilled to be announced as the overall winners in League 1 for Aberdeen. The team worked hard, showing commitment and enthusiasm throughout the competition and winning really was the perfect end to the year.
