Congratulations are also in order for Allison Thomson, the L1 Captain of the Year winner for 2011.
“I must admit I wasn’t quite sure what I was letting myself in for when I volunteered to take on the Vice Captain’s role!"
"I can now say with hand on heart, that it has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences of my career! Seeing Lloyd’s Register employees training and taking part in each event has been inspiring – the level of dedication and commitment from management to support staff is testament to our decision to sign up in 2011, and we now look forward to our second season in 2012.
From a personal point of view, being nominated and winning the Captain of the Year award in League 1 was the highlight of my year!”

League 2 - Jennifer Wood
Congratulations are also in order for Jennifer Wood, the L2 Captain of the Year winner for 2011.
"When I was asked to be Hunting’s Team Captain for the Corporate Decathlon in 2011, I was very happy at being asked to take on such an important role within my company. It has been a huge pleasure to take on this role and has led me to make many new friends within both my own company and with people from some of the other competing companies.
When I heard that I was one of the nominees for Captain of the Year award, I was surprised and very excited. I honestly never thought I would make the list of the top 4 captains. The night of the sports ball was a special night for me, and a night I was looking forward to. When my name was mentioned as the winner for league 2, I was shocked but delighted to have won this award. Being captain was a lot of hard work, but a rewarding experience to see my team do so well and have so much fun throughout the year. I am looking forward to taking part again in 2012"
